Whole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents
That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Training & Ongoing Support
You don’t need to have spent a decade hauling a Rotobrush through crawl spaces to own a Cardinal Air Duct Cleaning location. What you need is the willingness to run a local business the right way, and we’ll teach you the rest. Our training is built for people coming from completely different careers: teachers, nurses, logistics managers, retired military. The technical side, the sales side, the software side, we cover it all before you ever answer your first customer call. This page explains exactly what that looks like, from your first day of training through your first year and beyond.
Initial Training
Your onboarding starts with two full weeks at our training facility, where you’ll learn the trade from the ground up. We start with the fundamentals: how HVAC systems are built, how air moves through a home, and what actually accumulates inside ductwork over time. You’ll spend hands-on hours with the equipment we run in the field: Rotobrush rotary brush systems, Nikro HEPA-rated vacuum extraction units, and Abatement Technologies containment setups. By the end of week two, you can walk a homeowner through what you found in their ducts and explain why it matters in plain English, not technician jargon.
After the technical block, we move into the business side. You’ll learn our booking software, the Relay Standard platform, inside and out. That includes how the live arrival tracking works, how to send before-and-after photo documentation to a customer’s phone, and how digital invoicing by link functions from first quote to final receipt. We train you on hiring: what to look for in a technician, how to run background checks, and how to build a small team that protects your reputation. You’ll also get our marketing playbook, which covers local SEO, Google Business Profile setup, neighborhood-level direct mail, and social proof systems. No prior experience needed, but you will leave training knowing the job.
Launch Support
Opening week is where a lot of new owners freeze. We don’t let that happen. A launch specialist works with you before your doors open to build out your local marketing foundation: your Google Business Profile, your service area map, your website with service pages for your actual neighborhoods, and your initial customer review strategy. We help you set up your lead engine so calls start coming in, not trickling in. That includes paid search and local service ads configured for your specific market, not a generic national template.
Your first ten jobs get extra eyes. A field coach is on call during each of those appointments, so when you walk into a house and find something unexpected, like a dryer vent that hasn’t been cleaned in fifteen years or a return duct packed with construction debris, you have someone who’s seen it before. You text them a photo, they talk you through the right move. Once those first jobs are done, we do a full review together: what went well, what you could do sharper, and how to price the next one. You’re not guessing. You’re building.
Ongoing Support
Support doesn’t end after your first month. Here’s what’s in place for the life of your location:
- Field coaching: A dedicated support line where you can reach a senior technician during business hours. Send photos, ask pricing questions, talk through a strange system you encountered. You’ll never be the only person in the room.
- Marketing refreshers: Quarterly sessions covering what’s working right now in local lead generation. We update the playbook as Google changes, and we make sure you’re not running last year’s tactics.
- Vendor relationships: You get access to our national accounts with Rotobrush, Nikro, Abatement Technologies, Honeywell, Aprilaire, and Guardsman. That means better pricing on equipment and filtration products than you’d get buying solo.
- Technology updates: The Relay Standard platform keeps improving, and you get every update as it rolls out. New booking features, better arrival tracking, cleaner invoice flows, all handled for you.
- National brand campaigns: We run awareness campaigns that lift every Cardinal Air Duct Cleaning location. When someone in your market searches for duct cleaning and recognizes the cardinal name, your local listing benefits.
- Peer network: You’re part of a group of independent owners who run the same playbook. Ask questions, share what worked in your market, borrow ideas. No one competes with you in your own service area.
You’re Never Alone
